A yummy and Healthy Recipe..

I don't know if you have heard about the Amazing YL ( Young Living) essential oils...
But if you haven't look them up RIGHT NOW...You maybe skeptical at first...but once you try some that will change quickly and the usefulness of these amazing oils is pure science!!!!
Anyhow this recipe includes one of my favorite YL oils...Thieves

As the mom of 6 kids...three of whom are in school!
I spend a lot of the year fighting sickness. I know I am not the only mom dealing with this.
For years there wasn't much I could do...
Vaccines that don't always work for the flu...
Vitamin C and Zinc for Colds
And there wasn't much preventative I could do for tummy bugs
(other than washing the kids hands and using hand sanitizer)
But that has all changed now that I use YL oils
Not only can I prevent the kids getting sick more effectively but
I can also kick the sickness in the butt faster!!!
This morning Cherry woke up with a cough...
When you have six kids..and one gets sick..It's horrid cause you know soon they will all be sick
So I put some thieves on her feet (as well as the other kids) and gave her a extra vitamin C
(I am impatiently waiting for my starter kit so I will have more oils too help fight sickness)

So I am sitting here thinking on how happy I was to have my thieves.
Not only does it work wonders against colds but it also smells amazing
What if I make some  Breakfast muffins!!!!
So here is my recipe :)
I made these on the fly in the two hours I have between dropping my pre-schooler off
and leaving to pick up my older two...while taking care of my younger three...
So my execution wasn't flawless lol

I started out by using one box spice cake mix...
I added the eggs and milk ( I don't use water when I bake) and I melted the butter
(Bad I know I should use coconut oil but I am southern when I cook and like butter too much lol)
I added three drops of thieves to the butter and whisked it then added the butter
Then I mixed it all up and smelled the batter...I didn't think it smelled different at all so I added three more drops...
That was a mistake lol
I then taste tested the batter and it pretty much tasted like I was eating cinnamon
(thieves has a cinnamon flavor and scent, at least to me)
So I added another box of spice cake mix and the wet ingredients..
Taste tested again and it was perfect...should have stuck with my initial three drops lol

I then filled up a muffin tin with liners and poured the mixture in
I partially peeled a organic red apple because let's face it the skin is tough when you bake it

Then I chopped it up relatively fine on top of the muffins but didn't add to much
apples release extra moisture into the mix while it bakes so add to much and they won't bake properly

Then I mixed the apple into the muffin mix
I used my finger since it was clean and only my kids and I will be eating these lol
(now you can just chop up the apples straight into the cake mix and whisk them in before pouring
it into the muffin pan...I didn't do this because my husband doesn't like red apples and I wanted him to try these. For him I used the rest of the mix and Chopped up pears and made a cake)

I baked them for 15minutes
And this is my baking Assistant :P
I started these right after I walked in the door from taking Mack to school
And she was asleep in her carseat...mid mixing she woke up lol
So she watched me finish mixing
and when the muffins went in the oven the baby A came out for cuddles

and took them out...
Tasted them and they are YUM!!!!

You could add pretty much anything to these to make a healthy breakfast muffin...
Nuts, raisins other fruit... I just used what I had on hand :)
These would be great for a healthy breakfast or snack.
I plan to top the cake with a whipped cream cheese frosting and tada I have dessert too...
Now I am not going to tell my hubby there is thieves in it...
Until after he tries it...
Lets see what he thinks of my Witchcraft cake...
That's what he calls my oils ;) Which craft..
Ya know cause they work like magic
Can't wait to try out other recipes with my YL oils
Hope you enjoy this one
Just remember all good things in moderation

(Update- Hubby just tasted the Cake and he loved it...Then I told him the theives was in it..
He still loves it lol)

The Boy who stole my heart first

Communication is important...and sometimes it's hard. Harder then it should be. And more often then not things get taken wrong or misunderstood. I am dealing with that right now...with one of the most important people in my life. When we moved to Eastern Washington 3yrs ago it wasn't under great circumstances. I don't regret moving here...but I do hate the way it happened. I do hate that people were hurt. I do hate that one of the most important people in my life thought I didn't love him...thought I could walk away and not hurt like I was missing part of me...And that I thought he hated me...because he couldn't say goodbye...We were both so very wrong...and Now I am trying to repair the damage but I don't know if I can...and that seriously is breaking me into pieces...

He probably won't ever read this and if he did at this point I am not sure if he'd care.... I hate that it seems we lost what we had... He was and is so much to me.... He was the first boy who stole my heart...
God how can it be so long... I swear he should still just be that little boy...but he's not
And the man he is... God he probably doesn't think I have the right to say this...
But I am so Damn proud of that man...
He's kind, Smart, amazing, and stubborn... Just like me (the stubborn part) just like his papa...
20 years ago my sister was pregnant with my nephew...
I was so excited to meet him and so in love with that little boy before he was even born.
I was only 7yrs old..so to me it was like I was finally getting a younger sibling..
He was born on February 16th.... I can't believe he will be 20 this year....
And it was instant undeniable strong amazing love...
I watched him grow...
I went to his baseball games..
I saw him go to his first dance...
I danced with him at my wedding...
He was my first boy...
Always has been and always will be...
And when I finally had a Son I named him Jaydon...
I have all these reasons why I named my kids what I name them...
No one knows the second Reason behind Jaydons name though
the first reason is that it means "Thankful" and Jaydon is our miracle baby...but the second reason..
Was because I wanted to be able to call him Jay...like the other important boy in my life...Jonathan Eric Teabo... J
There isn't anyone in this world I love more then my kids...but there are two people that I love just as much as them... J and his sister Miranda...
They were my world for so long... I was part Aunt part friend part sibling and sometimes part parent... and those were the best relationships I have ever had... Being all sibling...it get's old sometimes being the baby and getting treated like a idiot...Being all friend can get to be annoying sometimes when you grow apart, Being all Parent is hard and you don't get to always be the fun one...and being all aunt just doesn't allow you to grow as close..but we had the perfect combination...
I wish J could see me now.. with tears streaming down my face, My heart on my sleeve and the truth in my eyes...He'd know that despite what we both thought...we were both wrong..and we can have that back...We could be that close again.. I don't think he knows how much I miss him...I keep trying to tell him... I would do anything...if only he would tell me what it would take...
He was and is the first boy who stole my heart and the part he took will forever and always only belong to him. I think we both have missed out on enough time..And I pray he will see that and give it another chance... Don't ever forget that you were my first and my only JJ the Jet plane and there is no one who can take your place.. I love you so much... If only you knew. And you have no idea how sorry I am that you doubted it....
